The Shop
Grand Touring is well known in the classic car industry for unparalleled care and craftsmanship. For nearly 40 years, we have been providing transparent service and support to the classic car community. Independent of scope or scale, every commission at Grand Touring holds a special place for us and our story.
Service
Maintaining classic cars requires an obsessive dedication to authenticity to the driving experience. Whether reverse engineering original components or chasing down “unobtanium”, we will provide the most authentic motoring experience possible!
Restoration
Restorations are often lengthy and sometimes complicated endeavors. Our team has tried-and-true processes for helping you define your goals and setting out an actionable plan for reaching them. We have had the privilege of working on one-off prototypes which have called for unparalleled ingenuity and resourcefulness, to scaled production cars that we’ve been tasked to bring back to their former road-going glory.
Our focus throughout a restoration is not only on bringing a car to Concours quality but to ensure the driving experience pays homage to the engineering masterminds who created these cars. Our intention is for each and every client to enjoy the truest motoring experience possible.
Trim Shop
From simple interior refreshes to period-correct restorations, Grand Touring's award-winning Trim Team has the expertise to artfully define and tactfully translate your vision into a reality. It's true what they say— what's on the inside really does count.
Engine Shop
Grand Touring’s engine development program strives to innovate on classic and iconic designs with the newest technology available. All of our builds are tested with our in-house engine dynamometer cell - a rarity for most shops in the restoration space.
We are not a “crate” engine supplier. Every engine is approached with the same level of attention and care to ensure it is operating at peak performance once it is reunited with the chassis.
Detailing
Automotive finishes have evolved and changed over the years. Our exceptionally talented team is skilled in both the preservation and restoration of finishes. These services cover all parts of the vehicle including the exterior, interior, engine bay, and undercarriage. Far exceeding a normal detail, Grand Touring can also perform various chemical and electro-plating services that are period-correct for your vehicle. These final preparations can make all the difference when your vehicle is rolling onto the show field.
Storage
With no lack of the expertise required for the proper operation of antique, vintage, or classic vehicles, Grand Touring’s Storage Team is the exact same team that you turn to for service or restoration. Whether your vehicle is in need of a secure facility for a couple of months, or as a permanent home, Grand Touring’s devoted and experienced team will ensure that it is cared for as if it were our own.
Collection Management
On a limited basis, Grand Touring offers full, collection-level management. These services span a vast range of both on- and off-site services. Grand Touring can arrange and oversee national and international shipping and support with our team and through trusted and dedicated partners as needed. These services are individual and tailored.
